Good Wages for Alabama's Workers

  • Support Alabama having its own minimum wage and adjusting it to inflation.

  • Expand career and technical education in high schools, letting students earn trade certifications before graduation.

  • Encourage cooperation between high schools and unions to allow training and apprenticeships as a part of shop/technical/trade classes.

  • Repeal SB231 and protect card check.

An Affordable Alabama

  • End algorithmic middlemen in the rental market

  • Work with non-profits to expand child care availability

  • Support Medicaid Expansion

  • Seek to reform the certificate of need process

  • Support Alabama's public school systems and provide the needed resources for expansion of opportunities to go from school to career.

Put Compassion Back in Public Policy

Life doesn't go as planned for all my friends and neighbors. Just because life throws you troubles like losing your job or your business failing doesn't mean that the state shouldn't treat you with respect and work with our churches and community partners to get you back on your feet.
